AGIA MARINA

This unique object is one of the few island houses that touch litterally the Aegean Sea. It is located at the beach of capital Agia Marina, with view over the bay, the port and the castle. The pittoresque town of Agia Marina is the oldest settlement on the island with remains from the Roman era. This traditional stonebuilt house has been built on the rocks at the end of the main beach. The original house has been extended and seperated into two apartments, and fully renovated in 2001. providing a modern comfort in an original Aegean style. The apartment downstairs is the biggest, divided in a living area with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom/WC. The apartment above has also two bedrooms, of which one has a traditional 'krevato', a kitchen and a bathroom/WC. The veranda has an amazing seaview and looks towards Agia Marina port and town as well. At the access road towards the house no traffic is allowed, which guarantees a quiet environment. Ammenities are all on walking distance, such as shops, supermarket, restaurants, taxi, bus, post office and church.
